So I was tagged for this meme several days ago. I’m just now getting around to doing it.

1. What translation of the Bible do you like best?

The Septuagint.

2. Old or New Testament?

The NT was originally written in Greek; it οὖν is better.

3. Favorite Book of the Bible?

Tough one. If I had to pick one that I enjoyed reading the most, I guess it would be Colossians.

4. Favorite Chapter?

Don’t really have one.

5. Favorite Verse? (feel free to explain yourself if you have to)

6. Bible character you think you’re most like?

Jael. Getting Sisera was pretty close to a head shot in FPS games...which I enjoy. And yes, I know she’s a girl. But look how cool she is.

7. One thing from the Bible that confuses you?

The synoptic problem.

8. Moses or Paul?

Paul. He is teh r0x0r.

9. A teaching from the Bible that you struggle with or don’t get?

This isn’t teaching per se, but is a systematics problem based on teachings: The NT’s teachings on regeneration, faith, the ordering of those two, the doctrine of total depravity, the timing of the coming of the Spirit, and how you then reconcile how all that worked before the giving of the new covenant.

10. Coolest name in the Bible?

Even though I love the names "Dorkas" and "Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz", I would have to go with "Artaxerxes" as my favorite.
