Random thoughts before bed.
- Saw "The Day the Earth Stood Still" the other day with the wife. It was so bad that I felt like the earth stood still... But I will say this: it is nice to see that Keanu Reeves can find roles that he can fill adequately, i.e. the role of a being who only marginally acts like a normal human being.
- 31 downloads of the Protoevangelium/Protevangelium/Protoevangelion reader. I hope all of you find it useful!
- I splurged and bought myself an upgrade in the radio for my truck. I can now plug my iPod directly into it. Yay! I don’t have to broadcast over FM just to play my podcasts on the speakers!
- Went to the Stars game the other night. I read another chapter of the Voting About God book on the train. I’m glad I have the book, though I find it frustrating because I don’t have any access to the bazillions of texts that he is referencing. Oh Mansi, if I only owned a copy of your volumes! You can sorta view the data over at Documenta Catholica Omnia, but the scans are of bad quality and they apparently aren’t totally free on their materials. Maybe I’m too picky.
- Yay! It is finally cold in Dallas.
- LATO is a cool site. I hope its inactivity since Aug doesn’t mean it is abandoned. Thanks for the tip, Mike.

Hey, Eric. Not that we’ve had a ton of contact online, but I know you’re a DFW biblioblogger and I’m wondering if you’re going to the regional SBL in March. I think there are at least a handful of us in DFW alone and we ought to do lunch or dinner, like you guys did in Boston.
What do you think? Have y’all done this in years past? Let me know, and maybe we can make a plan...

I haven’t decided if I’m going yet. Either way, we should all do dinner or lunch sometime. I think that’s a fabulous idea.

So a DFW Bibliobloggers dinner, arranged around that weekend, could be held for anyone whether or not they’re attending the conference.
Hopefully it won’t be only DFW, but that alone would be worth it for me, by far.
